According to Bloomberg Adria, Stoja Trade is the most successful real estate agency in Slovenia in terms of productivity and net profit

On September 3, 2026, in an article by journalist Aleksandar Lukić, Bloomberg Adria reviewed the financial results of major Slovenian companies engaged in real estate brokerage. The data shows that the number of real estate companies with annual revenue exceeding one million euros has increased, with Stoja Trade standing out in particular in terms of profitability.
Stoja Trade: 3.3 million euros in revenue and over one million euros in net profit
In 2025, Stoja Trade generated 3.3 million euros in revenue, ranking among the largest real estate companies in Slovenia by revenue.
The result is even more striking when it comes to net profit. According to data analyzed by Bloomberg Adria, Stoja Trade was the only company among those with at least half a million euros in revenue to exceed one million euros in net profit in 2025. The company had already stood out in this regard the previous year.
For Stoja Trade, this result primarily underscores the importance of effective organization, an experienced sales team, a high-quality base of buyers and sellers, and many years of experience in the Slovenian real estate market.
“Rising real estate prices do not, in and of themselves, necessarily mean a proportional increase in revenue for real estate agencies. Higher prices can also mean reduced affordability for buyers, longer decision-making processes, more complex financing, and more work involved in each individual transaction. That is why we view stable operations in such an environment as a very good result,” emphasizes Zoran Đukić, director of Stoja Trade.
Team productivity is also a key factor. At Stoja Trade, a single successful real estate agent can generate a comparable or even greater volume of business than a small real estate agency with five or more employees. This shows that results are not determined solely by the size of the team, but primarily by the quality of the agents, the organization of work, access to high-quality properties, and the effective matching of buyers and sellers.
What is currently happening in the Slovenian real estate market?
The real estate market in Slovenia remains highly selective. Buyers are increasingly taking the following factors into account when making decisions:
- the property’s location,
- the quality of construction,
- energy efficiency,
- financing costs,
- the property’s functionality,
- long-term usability, and value retention.
In Ljubljana in particular, prices continue to be influenced by the limited supply of high-quality properties and land, lengthy development processes for new projects, and high construction costs.
For high-quality properties in prime locations, we at Stoja Trade therefore expect prices to stabilize at high levels or to continue growing moderately; given the current balance between supply and demand, we do not anticipate a significant overall decline in prices.
Nearly 30 years of experience in the real estate market
Stoja Trade has been operating in the Slovenian real estate market since 1996. Today, the company specializes in the sale and leasing of residential and commercial properties, new construction, investment projects, and services for domestic and international clients.
The business results for 2025 are thus not merely a consequence of real estate price trends, but primarily the result of the long-term development of the sales network, market knowledge, the client base, and specialization in the more demanding segments of the real estate market.
