Stoja Art Collection Gallery at Biennale Arte 2026 in Venice

Stoja Art Collection Gallery from Ljubljana visited the 61st Biennale Arte in Venice in 2026, the international contemporary art exhibition titled In Minor Keys. By regularly attending leading international art events, we stay closely connected to the development of contemporary art, international artists, current curatorial approaches, and the trends shaping the global art market.
This year’s 61st International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia, titled In Minor Keys, takes place across the main venues of the Giardini and Arsenale, as well as at various other locations throughout Venice.
Biennale Arte 2026: In Minor Keys
For decades, the Venice Biennale has been a meeting point for artists, galleries, curators, collectors, museums, and leading cultural institutions from around the world.
The diversity of exhibitions and national pavilions offers insight into a wide range of artistic approaches, cultural contexts, and current topics shaping contemporary art. Visiting the Biennale is therefore not only about experiencing individual artworks, but also about understanding the broader international art landscape.
Why does Stoja Art Collection Gallery visit the Venice Biennale?
At Stoja Art Collection Gallery in Ljubljana, we believe that working with art at the highest level requires continuous engagement with the international art world.
Visiting events such as La Biennale di Venezia and Art Basel allows us to follow artists, new curatorial approaches, and developments on the global art scene first-hand. At the same time, these events provide valuable opportunities to exchange ideas and perspectives with galleries, collectors, and other professionals working in modern and contemporary art.
For us, it is particularly important not to experience art solely through auction results, publications, or digital channels. An artwork should be seen in person, understood within its context, and experienced in dialogue with other artists and institutions.
These experiences also play an important role in shaping our approach to developing the Stoja Art Collection and advising art collectors.

From Venice to Ljubljana
International art events enable us to bring the knowledge and experience gained in major global art centres back into the Slovenian cultural and art environment.
At Stoja Art Collection Gallery, we present a carefully curated selection of works by internationally recognised artists. Our collection includes works by artists such as Andy Warhol, Alighiero Boetti, Ross Bleckner, Bernd Zimmer, Jonathan Lasker, David Reed, and Pablo Atchugarry.
Our goal is not simply to present an individual artwork. We aim to provide collectors with a deeper understanding of its wider art-historical context, the significance of the artist, and their position within the international contemporary art world.
Our visit to Biennale Arte 2026 in Venice was therefore another opportunity to explore, compare, and discover the ideas currently shaping art — and those that may influence its development in the years to come.
